Amazing place and well worth short or long visit; the little huts was amazing, each one with their own balconies looking out into the savana, it is truly a unique experience. They have an amazing restaurant and pool as well which adds to the experience but the animals was so majestic and we saw all of the big 5 and that was great bit the best part of the whole place was the staff, they literally try their hardest to make your experience extra special 😀 cannot recommend this place enough, either via 4 days experience from Cape Town or staying there for few nights or even a week, would love to go back for full week of relaxation and animals. 😀

A well run place with delightful staff. The safaris are well conducted with knowledgable guides. The Restaurant has a seperate vegetarian menu. All the safaris are equipped with Warm ponchos to survive the rain and cold. We had a drink at the safari with A rhino in background. Wont harm to add some vegetarian options in breakfast though. All in All a great experience and a special mention to the nice lady at the spa

A fantastic game resort with all big 5 you need. Very skilled staff with a lot of experience with the animals on in the area. Great setting for breakfast and dinner. Recommend to use the stay 3 pay2 package they offered us

We last visited around 20 years ago and were not expecting such a perfectly wonderful experience. The staff are all very well informed and warm and hospitable, till the animals which were plentiful and surprising...they have the big 5...all of them. Rooms fantastic, beds very comfy and our sunset2 room had an outside bathroom which was divine. All in all wr are very sorry we only booked for 1 night. We would love to return

GRGL offers a fantastic wintertime deal with TWO game drives over the course of a one-night stay. Our game drive host was exceptional - she shared expert knowledge of the game, while also allowing for numerous questions. The food was high quality and a good value. Our private chalet met all expectations. The only criticism was the firmness of the bed.

A nice property - the service was a bit of a let down. For the price you pay - you'd expect a lot more. The safari drives were great, you'll need at least three to four drives to cover the whole reserve - so plan accordingly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food - very good, decently priced but a limited Menu. Having said that, what ever we ordered was great. Special mention to our guide / driver for the drives, Brandon - he was superb !! The reserve well - its a private reserve, so its like a big open air zoo with animals roaming around freely - kids loved it though - we got to see every thing - except the giraffe, as the area was cordoned off due to the rains. The one thing I'd like to point out is that during winter - the place should have been better lit. There were no torches in the rooms to find our way to the restaurant after dark (during a power outage) the resort as it is is stunning ! the pools looked lovely - was too cold for us to use. If you'll are a family and need connecting rooms - make sure you mention that early enough. All in all - it was an enjoyable stay !

This place is just incredible, immersed in nature, super cozy and unique to make your South Africa stay just awesome. We loved our room and the food. We loved our safari accompanied by our guide Hannes who made our experience even more impressive among animals. We really recommend visiting this place
